happy new year-2009

here are the few pics that i have taken during the holidays.......well have been very busy with all the parties and reuinions.....have to catch up with work again....another year and getting older...

last dec. 30, 2008, had a wedding event that was held at the Pandacan Church and reception followed at CenturyPark Hotel Manila. The couple glister and khariza was a lovely couple and would like to thank them for trusting me document their special event.

JANA MARGARITA'S 1ST FLOWER GIRL WEDDING

December 9, 2008, Pa and Sabrina's wedding at Our lady of guadaloupe in makati city. this is the first time jana's was a flower girl and she did a good job at it. she marched perfectly with her mom down the ailse and got a little camera shy in the group photos after the ceremony. all in all it was a good job for jana.....then come dec. 30 its her 2nd time again to be flower girl well she is now a veteran and hopefully will do a better job at it....the reception followed at the manila polo club....great food they have...loved the thai catfish salad...good choice there PA.

PHOTOWORLD CUP NOVEMBER 08 THEME "ANG PASKO AY SUMAPIT"

here are my entries for the club's monthly theme of christmas....
got the results of the photoworld cup judging...well no winner in my entries but the baby jesus lantern pic was chosen in one of the 30 finalists, very happy with it just making it to the finals....

for the month of february 2009, we had to take shots of winged insects no butterflies/moths to be taken since they are already overused. we have to look for different species of winged insects and try to make them appealing. went out in the garden and was surprised to see so many kinds of insects whether they may be winged or not. since we need to shoot winged insects here are my takes.

this one i went to my parents house and my dad a cockfighting afficionado has an egg incubator in the house and saw this one egg about to hatch...converted it to b&w taken with canon 40d with 60mm macro.

above photos i took in my own home, the 1st one is a centipede that is very abundant in our garden, they call it in tagalog "singsing pares"; the 2nd one i had a termite control check our house and they found this termite mound near my house , they got the queen and I had the queen posed for some shots before she was added to the ginebra gin the termite guys had with them. they add the queen to their gin kinda like a tequila with a worm inside the bottle. they say that the soldiers/workers mites always makes the queen squeeky clean and its high in protein......fear factor meal this they can do....
this one taken in virgin resort, laiya batangas. went there with the family and saw this crab just could help myself but take a picture of this one.
this are moth i saw in the screen door of my in laws in pampanga....i captured both of them and placed them face to face each other then took a photo of it... like this one most....

PUNTA FUEGO BATANGAS

here are some old photos taken last year, just now that i have edited them...its at punta fuego, calatagan batangas....went there for a site tour and hope someday i can own a property there.

went there with my sis-in-law, ate dawna, she just loved the place...the kids enjoyed their stay there...went swimming to the infinity pool by the beach and had a great lunch....finished most of the crispy pata.....

JOAQUIN'S 11TH BIRTHDAY, (NOVEMBER 22, 2008)

november 22, 2008 its joaquin's 11th birthday and he received a gift from us a WII nintendo game. he is so happy that he invited his friends and cousins for a wii game party....we cooked spaghetti and bbq with his request cream dory fish filled as his handa......the whole afternoon they all played wii games.....me and babes super tireeeed since we attended a party the nite before and got home almost 4 am....but it was all worth it for joaquins party naman.......next party will be next year on january 09, its julia's 7th party......that will be something naman also......

JANA MARGARITA'S 2ND BIRTHDAY (NOVEMBER 8, 2008)

its jana's 2nd birthday and we had a simple celebration at the house....had buttered fish fillet (lapu-lapu), roast beef and mash potatoes, bbq, tuna salad, baked macaroni as handa.....wit also ordered a very nice cake....a pokoyo themed cake featuring elli the elephant as the main character...it's jana's favorite cartoon.....

here are the pics of the bday party and some preparation was done by jana or making it undone already...hehehe
