aside from the chosen photo to be exhibited, here are more photos that has been taken during the Binondo shoot have been to the this area for many times but joining this activity have made me see a different angle of the old city of manila. a big influence of chinese culture and mixture of the old and new generations of chinese people.

AN AFTERNOON IN BINONDO
a culminating exhibit by the photo trip participants

Binondo, home of the Manila Chinatown, is situated across the Pasig River from Intramuros. It prides itself as the first business and finance hub in the country even before the Spaniards came and until now, commercial activities are prevalent.

Binondo/Chinatown still continues to surprise everyone who pays a visit with the many things this quaint district can offer and on display are the best photographs taken during the Binondo photo trip organized by The Alcove Perspective/Filipinas Heritage Library on August 23.

The Alcove, a pocket gallery located at the Filipinas Heritage Library, is open for viewing from Tuesday to Saturday at 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. After the exhibit, the photographs will be available for viewing online at www.filipinaslibrary.org.ph.
