Lolo Pepe's medical emergency at UST hospital

it was august 7, daddy was brought to UST hospital since he was having a week long fever and could not eat properly. at first we were nervous that he might have the dreaded AH1N1. when they chcked him in at the emergency section of the hopital they made all laboratory test and x-ray and found out that he has a blockage in his intestine.
he has to undergo an operation immediately since it is a lie and death situation. we were caught by surprise since daddy have been diagnosed as healthy as a horse every year. no hypertension and diabetes whatsoever. he was operated the next day, sunday around 4:30 pm and lasted about 3 hours. we were all at the hopital durin his ordeal and when the surgeon when out of the or, he has in his hand a big container containing the inards of daddy, he showed us that there is a tumor in between the small and large intestine. now the tumor would undergo biopsy and we are hoping that it will be benign. he stayed at the ICU for about 3 days and now he is staying in his own room and recovering quite well. seeing him in the icu will all these gadgets attached to him makes us feel sad for we have known our dad to be this strong willed person and nothing really can hurt him...except for the kabag moments he experiences with his tummy....
